Cheryl Rains

Cheryl Rains, 63, of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. Born on July 19, 1961, in Charleston, SC, she was a loving mother, wife, and friend, known for her spunky personality and deep compassion for animals, especially her dachshunds Ozzy and Dido and her cat Theta. Cheryl was always there to help anyone in need and loved being outdoors and slow dancing. She is now reunited with her parents, Gene Mizzell and Delores Norman.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Ron Rains; three daughters, Lindsay DuRoss, Nellie Harris and Jamie Baize; and her grandchildren Tyler, Miley, Carson, Emersyn and Riley.
